Description

Lake City / Federal XM855 5.56mm NATO ammunition is loaded to Military specification at the Lake City facility. This particular load uses the SS109 bullet which is a 62 grain Full Metal Jacket Boat Tail SS109 Steel Penetrator affectionately known as “Green Tip”. The finished rounds consist of sealed primers which is ideal for long term storage and moisture protection. Along with primers which are crimped in to ensure that blown primers don’t cause a malfunction during sustained fire. This ammo comes loose packed in 150 rd. boxes as shown, 4- 150 rd. boxes per case.

First Time Buyer - Will now, not go anywhere else

Had been looking for ball 5.56 rounds for the last couple of months in a quantity over 500. Everywhere was either out of stock or didn't carry more than a hundred rounds cases. I hadn't been able to find them anywhere. I had been using out of state suppliers then thought, let me see what's available in-state. That's when I found "Velocity Ammunition Sales". I placed my order after 3pm and it was delivered combined in one box the next day before 5pm. I was shocked. My order box was packaged inside with two boxes containing (5) small individual plastic pseudo ammo box looking containers each carrying 120 rnds. Nice not to have the plastic covered individual packages with the small 20 round paper boxes inside. Thank you Velocity... I will be back. Soon!!!
