56-50 Spencer

The .56-50 Spencer was a black powder rimfire cartridge employed by cavalry during the American Civil War. No modern rimfire spencer ammunition is produced commercially, any spencer ammunition that is found for sale today is centerfire, made using modern components for use in reproduction spencer rifles or in centerfire converted originals.
