Nice reliable ammo, but velocity is slower than advertised

I shot the precision one 210 grain .41 magnum FMJ ammo thru a Smith and wesson model 57 with a 4 inch barrel, and a 6.5 inch barrel. Velocity was lower than the stated 1150-1200, actually measured around 1,000 FPS from the 6.5 inch barrel. It was reliable and accurate, but velocity should have been higher.
