Description
This 50 caliber ammunition is produced by Lake City with a Lake City headstamp. Linked together to be fired from a belt fed machine gun and stored in a USGI ammo can, its not recommended that you remove the ammunition from the links to fire out of a 50 caliber rifle as ammunition loaded for a 50 caliber machine gun is usually higher pressure. The belt is linked with a 4 to 1 ratio of M33 FMJ (660 grain) and M17 Tracer (690 grain).
Lake City 50 BMG is packaged in cans of 100 rounds.
The M33 FMJ features a lead core and copper jacket, the M17 features a lead core, copper jacket and tracer compound.
This ammunition is ideal for range time and target shooting.
