The Hornady TAP features a lead core, copper jacket and polymer heat shield tip.

Great Ammo, Great Seller

This was my first order from Velocity, the transaction was flawless. Things are more complicated here in California, we cannot purchase ammunition directly, it has to be sent to an FFL, then transferred to me. Velocity coordinated with my FFL and sent them ammo out quickly.

This was also my first experience with this loading in 6mm ARC. Between the velocity (2753, 24" barrel) and the bullet enhanced ballistic coefficient (0.580) this load has 0.9 MILS less drop at 1000 yards (8.5 vs 9.4) than my go-to Hornady Black with the 105 BTHP match bullet. While not quite as accurate (0.45 MOA vs 0.3 MOA) verses the Black, the added range makes this my best choice for going out past 1000 yards.

I am very pleased with both Velocity Ammunition and this Hornady 6mm ARC 106 TAP load.
