Federal HST LE 124gr +P is one of the most popular and effective rounds for 9mm self-defense. Excellent penetration and expansion. I use them in many of my firearms. Don't get me wrong, there are other brands I buy and use, but for this price and quality, it is difficult to beat. It really only has a few competitors, but this is top notch along with the standard 124 and 147gr. I use those also, in various firearms.
